Calumet Griddle Cakes
2 level teaspoons Calumet Baking Powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 level teaspoon sugar
2 level teaspoons melted shortening
2 eggs-yolks
1 2/3 cups milk or water
How to Make Them
Mix dry ingredients in flour.
Beat egg yolks and melted shortening in the liquid, add only a part of the liquid mix until smooth. Then add gradually the balance of the liquid until batter is the proper consistency.
Bake on well greased hot griddle pan.
