Carrot Jelly Salad
1 ½ tablespoonful gelatin
2 tablespoonfuls lemon juice
¼ cupful sugar
2 cupfuls water
½ cupful finely chopped carrots
salt
Soak gelatin in quarter cupful of cold water and dissolve by setting the cup in a pan of hot water. Add two cupfuls of water, lemon juice, sugar and grated carrot: pour the mixture into molds and chill. Serve with mayonnaise garnished with paprika.
