CHOCOLATE FUDGE
One cup of sugar, half a cupful of sweet milk, two bars of sweet chocolate, grated. Put over the fire and boil until it drips from the spoon in a stream like a hair. Mix in as many English walnut meats cut into bits, as you think best. Stir and beat until the mixture is “sugary”. Pour into a buttered platter to cool, and cut into squares.
