Delicious Lemon Curd

Four oz. of margarine, 6oz. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 lemons, a dessertspoonful of custard-powder. Grate the rind of lemons, squeeze out the juice; beat up two eggs, add the margarine and sugar, put all together into basin and stand it in a saucepan of boiling water. Now mix up the custard powder to a paste, and boil it with a cupful of water; then mix it into the melted margarine, etc. Keep stirring until the curd is thick. Use in the usual way, most economical.
