Fried Nuts
From 1912:
Use any left over breakfast cereal, reheat it, season with butter, salt and cayenne, add chopped walnuts, roll in beaten egg, then in the walnuts, and fry 1 minute in deep fat. This recipe is economical in the sense that it utilizes left-overs in a palatable way.
