Frozen Fig Pudding

One quart milk, four eggs, one cup sugar, one tablespoon gelatine, one tablespoon vanilla, half pound figs, half pound English walnuts; make a custard of the milk, eggs and sugar; soak the gelatine half an hour in milk. When custard is cold add nuts, figs and gelatine, then freeze.
