Green Grapes Preserved
Wash the grapes, remove them from the stems and cut each grape in half; remove the seeds and then weigh the grapes. Allow a pound of sugar to each pound of the fruit and put sugar and fruit together into a preserving kettle. Cook slowly until very thick, then turn into jars, while the preserves are still boiling hot and seal.
