Take 2 lb. beef or kangaroo, 1 lb. of bacon or pork, minced small, 1 cupful breadcrumbs, 1 tablespoonful flour, 1 egg. Mix all well together, shape like a roley-poley, and roll in plenty of flour. Boil for two hours, turn out; when cold it is ready to eat.
